Slow Start

Phase der TCP Congestion Control.

• Start mit cwnd = 1 MSS (Maximum Segment Size).
• Bei jedem empfangenen ACK: cwnd = cwnd + 1 MSS.
• Effekt: Verdopplung von cwnd pro RTT (exponentielles Wachstum).
• Dauert an, bis ein Schwellenwert (ssthresh) erreicht ist oder Verlust auftritt.
